PRESS REVIEWS
Some reviews we received regarding SEETHE. Thank you so much!
FEMME METAL WEBZINE:
"(...) Right now there are a lot of female vocalists in action but Sandra has a unique versatility without unnecessary efforts, interspersing between sweeter and more consistent vocals, this singer fits perfectly in the background without conflict, turning the tracks into honest and fair musicality. (...) Emotional lyrics, powerful riffs, crunchy tempo shifts, an infinite variety of elements, tasty melodies, impeccable production, mixing and mastering, maginific cover art by Gustavo Sazes, clean English pronunciation, dynamism and versatility, this is BLAME ZEUS, transcending the limits of metal. Highlight for the track “No”, exceptionally perfect. Rating – 100/100"

THE BLACK PLANET:
"(...) It’s filled to the brim with tasty, decadent passages that segue into massive releases in the form of big hooks, courtesy of world-class vocals, and great musicianship. With a rare, uncanny ability to connect with her lyrics, vocalist Sandra Oliveira manipulates her voice with impressive results. (...) With Seethe, Blame Zeus crafted an exceptional record that will appeal to a broad audience. The big hooks, infectious melodies, accessible riffs, and excellent mix, will grab the casual rock fan. The level of musicianship and wealth of nuances in the playing will keep the sonically educated listener engaged. 9.5/10."

METAL TEMPLE:
"This highly addictive album has 10 awesome new tracks to sinks your teeth into. (...) (Seethe) is an emotionally deep album with some busting guitar riffs to accompany the drum beat and strong vocals. If you are a fan of powerful and strong female vocalists, this one is certainly an album worth exploring for you! (...) A well written and amazingly sung album, it sits high on my list of bands to follow into the future."

ANGRY METAL GUY:
"(...)All of this is accomplished with excellent musicianship and not a trace of the usual alt-metal faux-bravado. The music is easily absorbed yet doesn’t make you crave something more substantial thanks to the dusting of prog. (...) The songwriting on here is sturdy and addictive, with the subtle prog embellishments raising it to the next level, and all the performances are solid, with Oliveira’s vocals the shining core that elevates the album further. Blame Zeus make alternative great again."

ROCK MUSIC RAIDER:
"(...) The Portuguese crew of Blame Zeus really take no prisoners. Right from the start, they attack your eardrums with this eclectic mix of powerful, somewhat grungy mid-tempo Heavy Rock. (...) Seethe has this distinct and distinctly delicious progressive and alternative tilt woven into its rugged flesh. (...) And all this thrown aggressively into your face with a thumping riffing that rides on a wave of sturdy progression. Seethe really attacked the RMR deck crew from an unexpected corner with this relentlessly energetic piece. One that won’t aggressively mutilate you with overly sharp rocks thrown at you."

EVER METAL:
"(...) I was expecting sub-grade Lacuna Coil copyism with added twiddly bits. What I actually got was a fucking kick-ass heavy metal track from an instantly likeable band. (...) Vocalist Sandra Oliveira is excellent throughout the record (...) and the band’s command of English is actually superb. (...) Blame Zeus are good. If you like bands like Tool, Visions Of Atlantis, Flowing Tears and the like, then you will like them too. That was a deliberate attempt to see how many grammatically correct “likes” I could fit into a single sentence. You should buy their records. Do it. Do it NOW."
